This topic also takes a trip back in time to the 60s/70s, as they recreate the iconic designs by Mary Quant. Years 5 and 6 have created a fabulous collarge design on canvas. years 3 and 4 have yet to complete their Mary Quant design . look out for picture here and on display in the Mr Tom corridor . key stage 2 have worked together. Record from experience and imagination, Collect visual and other information (e.g. images, materials) to help them develop ideas including use of own sketchbook and to work as a team to create displays around the school. Using sketchbooks, record, evaluate ideas and express their personal opinions. Improve techniques such as drawing, painting and sculpture with varied materials. Learn about great artists, architects and designers. On completion children will have learnt about visual and tactile elements, including colour, pattern and texture, line and tone, shape form and space and how these elements can be combined and organised for different purposes. |
